Food Skills Workshops  & Community Kitchens

The community cooking classes operate at various community partner locations:

• CMHA - RSVP Clubhouse

• Barrie Free Methodist Church

• NEW! Barrie Housing

 

The classes run in 6-week sessions and are free for participants.

Community Kitchen Facilitators
We are looking for a cooking class facilitator and support volunteers for demo-style cooking classes at Barrie Housing (6 weeks starting mid-October). All food skills activities will be in accordance with guidelines from the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit and COVID protocols will be in place. Let us know by completing this form if you are interested in volunteering!

Urban Pantry also offers food handler certification and train-the-trainer programs. Contact if you would like to volunteer or participate.
